The food is great and always on point. I would definitely recommend trying
BUT!!!
Depending on the time of day you will have to wait a while and the customer service can be a lot better, the workers always have attitudes -

This is the best Jamaican food you can find in the RDU area. I haven't lived in wake county in over 7 years but whenever I'm in town I always make a trip to Lees. They have all the typical Jamaican restaurant offerings as well as some soul food offerings and all of them hit. Really flavorful, generous portion sizes.

So I have been going to Lee's for years now and I never had a bad experience until today. I drove across town in, friday evening traffic, on my lunch break just because I had a craving for curry chicken. Unfortunately when I sat down to eat my food (I got curry chicken, Mac and cheese, and collards) there was a WHOLE DEAD BEETLE IN MY GREENS!!!! I could have literally thrown up, I was so disgusted. The staff was very nice and gave me a full refund for my meal when I returned with my plate an hour later but unfortunately I will not be returning to Lee's when I have a craving for Caribbean food.

Stopped into Lee's Kitchen 3 nights ago for a take-away brown stew chicken dinner with plantains and mac'n cheese. No sooner then digging into the first bite of mac and I pull out a 3 inch by 3 inch industrial piece of plastic! How such a large peice of debris/choking hazard was missed and subsequently served to a guest is mind boggling! Absolutely dangerous, unsanitary and just all around gross. And I guess that puts the question to rest that their mac'n cheese is definitely not homemade. I reached out to the location with pics (not even asking for a refund) and description of the incident, so at minimum they could through out the contaminated batch before someone chokes to death, but they did not feel the need to respond.

I went to the location on Raleigh blvd. The food was ok, the only down side was dealing with the attitude of the staff. A lot of the sides they had were out and it was a bit of a wait. Hopefully they can come up with a better structure for handing out orders. It was crowded so we had to watch and guess whose plate belonged to who. Would go to the capital location next time.
